PlayIQ Club Operations

Operator education · Sample-based discussion

A forecast is a starting point. The operating decision is the point.

PlayIQ connects existing club information to help managers make staffing, purchasing, service and financial decisions. This guide uses dining demand to show how an explainable operating conversation can work.

The examples use sample club data. They do not identify a real problem at your club and are not customer results.

Start with one decision

Choose an upcoming service period. Ask what dining demand is expected, which factors support that expectation, and what would change the plan. Then connect the answer to preparation quantities, purchasing priorities and staffing coverage.

A useful discussion makes its assumptions visible. A forecast should help a manager ask better questions, not turn uncertainty into a promise.

Bring complementary responsibilities into the conversation

The portfolio question is a discussion framework; this single-club sample is not a demonstration of a connected customer portfolio.

A 30-minute facilitator outline

  1. First 5 minutes: select the operating decision and state that the data is a sample.
  2. Next 10 minutes: inspect the example and identify its assumptions and unanswered questions.
  3. Next 10 minutes: discuss what each department would do and what information it would need.
  4. Final 5 minutes: agree on one question worth exploring further. Do not claim savings from the sample.

Associations and consultants can use this as a starting point for an educational conversation. Joint events, endorsements, use of customer information and any costs require separate agreement.

Start with sample data. Tell us the operating decision you want to explore; no proof of a problem or data-readiness project is required before that conversation.
